Hey guys, I'm Kaylie! I am currently a sophomore at the University of Minnesota. I am currently majoring in finance and non-profit management, with a minor in math. But that might all be changing soon because I'm thinking of going into elementary education instead, so we'll see! I will be studying at the University of Cape Town in South Africa this next semester and am super excited to see the rich history and beautiful landscape that Cape Town has. I am very addicted to coffee, so you bet I'll be exploring all of the coffee shops in the city! I'm also looking forward to volunteering at a local school and getting involved in a church near campus. I've never been so far from home (my house is only 20 minutes away from my school), but I am so excited to learn more about who I am as a person and how that fits into this world! So, get ready to see a rollercoaster of emotions, realizations and growth over this next semester. I'll be posting about my experiences, favorite foods, tips/tricks, volunteering, and anything else that inspires me while abroad! I'm just so excited to go abroad and start learning about and experiencing a brand new culture (if you couldn't tell already by all of my exclamation points), so I look forward to "talking" to you all soon!
